When Tom started at Goffs-Churchgate he led on implementing rapid change across the school with a focus on high aspirations, a relentless focus on the progress of all students, ensuring that no student is left behind; a no-excuse culture; and high standards of behaviour and respect. As a result, the school has had a remarkable turnaround, with its last published Progress 8 in 2019 at +0.47 and +0.46 in 2022. Alongside over 600 applications for 120 spaces, the school recently received their OFSTED report highlighting the school as Good with Outstanding features.
Tom is also the Trust's School Improvement Lead, supporting other schools in the Trust. He is also a qualified OFSTED Inspector.
