Autonomy and Alignment
Each school within the Trust has its own distinct ethos, something that is overtly encouraged and celebrated. There is alignment across the schools within the Trust with respect to core values, expectations, systems and operating procedures, and in commissioning services.
There is also alignment on key policies relating to core areas including finance and HR.
Autonomy is reflected through the individual cultures of the schools within the Trust: each has a distinct uniform, and its own ethos and relationship with its community. The Trust does not rename or rebrand established and successful schools that want to join us. The naming and blueprinting of Goffs-Churchgate in the image of Goffs, was a deliberate policy to ensure that this new secondary school was successfully launched and grew confidently. Established and successful schools looking to join our Trust, should expect to have their individual identity nurtured within the security of the overarching Trust umbrella.
