Nick brings to the role a well-rounded wealth of experience in Building and Facilities management, including membership of NEBOSH and IOSH, having obtained a Degree at Liverpool John Moores University in Sports Development and Physical Education. Prior to joining GMAT, Nick worked for the MET Police within the Property Services Directorate, managing some of the police's most iconic sites including the famous Hendon training school, plus during the 2023 Coronation, managed New Scotland Yard, which was the MET police's main hub for all critical organisational demands. Nick received various commendations for his work including saving the life of a vulnerable person, plus a commendation for the delivery of the Property Services Directorate Estates team.
Nick has a long-standing family history within the Trust, having been a former pupil himself at Goffs Academy. Nick's late Grandfather dug the original swimming pool at the old Goffs School, his father was in the very first intake, and his older brother was Head Boy.
Nick brings an informed, determined and solution focused approach to his work. With a strong Estates team working to him at GMAT, Nick is closely focused on developing and maintaining current standards, plus driving a cycle of continuous improvement across the estate.
