Lisa completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management and gained Chartered status of the CIPD whilst working at The Crown Estate. She then joined the HR team at Highgate School where, over the course of nearly ten years, she developed an extensive knowledge of the full spectrum of HR practice in education including Safer Recruitment, safeguarding, employee relations, payscale design, and policy development.
In 2017, Lisa was invited to provide advice on employment matters during the pre-opening and opening stages of LAE Tottenham, a new 16-19 free school. She remained at the school as HR Manager, dividing her time between LAE Tottenham and Highgate.
Lisa has now joined GMAT in the role of People Director and is enjoying her role leading the HR function and supporting the expansion of the Trust.
In addition, Lisa is a Trust-appointed Governor at a primary school in North London.
